Capturing the unseen

The shot of the pale blue flower at the bottom of the garden revealed the wonderful red spider. I think this has to be 'beauty and the beast'!
I am always discovering how photography enables me to see things I would otherwise miss, but these are two prime examples

These two images became revelations, because what they show was not seen until viewed at home on the computer.

The cormorant by the river in Cardiff was drying its wings in the sun. But look at the patterns and colours on what is usually seen as a 'black bird'!
